but your dog isn’t.
That’s where I come in.

Designed to give your pup the opportunity to sniff, explore and simply be a dog; my adventure hikes provide the positive reinforcement and mental stimulation required to fulfill and tire our dogs.

Your dog is your family as my dogs have always been to me. Safety and responsibility for each dog is my number one priority. I will make sure to keep them safe, give him or her lots of love and bring your dog home exercised and happy.

You don’t have to worry about a thing. 

Whether you live in the Midcoast or are visiting, I will come to pick up your pup, drive to a trail head, hike on for an hour and drop your dog back at home. 

Relationships with new clients and their dogs begin with a meet and greet at your home. We will run through all our questions, discuss any special needs your dog may have and establish a plan for pickup and drop off that works best for you.

Meet the Owner

I am Lisa Tapken and have lived in Maine for nearly 25 years. I spend as much time as possible exploring the great outdoors with my dog, Delta Burke. Delta B is a rescue from Georgia and was afraid of everything, but after a few of years of love, patience and training, is now jumping into kayaks, camping and very nervously learning to swim.

When I first moved to Maine my trail partner was my Great Dane, Gunter. Weighing in at a whopping 140 pounds, Gunter, was a gentle giant and my loyal hiking companion. We were joined a couple years later by Mikhail, a sweet pit mix from New Jersey, who was never more than a few feet away from Gunter and me.

I currently live in Camden and work as a personal chef. When I’m not hiking, I can be found enjoying meals with friends and planning my next travel adventure.

If your dog is not a fan of cars or traveling, I also offer one-hour walks around your neighborhood. When your dog arrives back at home, you will receive a text with a map of where we hiked or walked and pictures of your happy pup.
